FCB accelerates implementation of EFT/POS in Bohol
The First Consolidated Bank is accelerating the implementation of electronic fund transfer/point of sale (EFT/POS) service in Bohol, starting March 2010.
For the thousands of FCB PITAKArd holders, this means giving them more convenience in paying their bills and in paying for their purchase of goods to accredited merchants, companies and educational institutions through the EFT/POS.
For FCB accredited merchants and business establishments in the province, this means more income from sales of PITKArd holders who pay their purchases through their EFT/POS.
Accredited merchants can easily monitor their sales and do not have to worry about security of their cash as it is deposited directly to their designated account at FCB.
Boholanos can send money or allowances to a PITAKArd account of their friend relatives, or children, free of charge.
FCB has installed EFT/POS terminals in big business establishments in the province., and is presently working with public utilities and educational institutions in the province to allow their customers or students to pay their bills at the FCB EFT/POS..
. There are now more than 15,000 PITAKArd holders who enjoy the safety and convenience in withdrawing cash, purchasing goods and services, and paying bills to utility companies and educational institutions through the EFT/POS. The number of PITAKArd holders is growing daily.
Those who are interested to acquire a PITAKArd may open an ATM-POS account at any FCB branch in Bohol.
Interested merchants who want to be accredited as participating stores and avail of the growing market are advised to visit the nearest branch of FCB.
The FCB PITAKArd account requires a minimum amount of only P100 to open , and will earn interest at a competitive rate if the average daily balance is P501 and above.
