BLESS INDUCTION.-Officers and members of the Bohol League of Secretaries to the Sanggunian, Inc. (BLESS) pose with their guests during their induction at Bohol Tropics. New league president and Loay Sangguniang Bayan (SB) secretary Jenaro Valloso (right of Tongco) aimed at making their group more proactive, innovative and competent, its members being the scribes and recorders of the legislatures and highest policy-making bodies in their respective local government units. The other BLESS officers for 2012-2013 are SB secretaries Edilberto Salamat, Jr. of Baclayon as vice president; Julie Tinaja of San Isidro, secretary; Nelia Maquiling of Sikatuna, treasurer; Susana Salazar of Duero, auditor; Russel Eustacio Villas of Antequera, PRO; and Timoteo Balane of Dauis, Annabelle Anunciado of Danao and Renato Acera of Jagna, board directors for 1st, 2nd and 3rd districts, respectively. Imee Raut of Lila is the assistant secretary while Joyce Madelo of Sierra-Bullones is the assistant treasurer. Tongco said the governor would wish the BLESS objectives not carved on stone or posted on lobby wall but spread because the members of the group are also communicators to the people on the doings of their sanggunians. Seated 5th, 6th from left are Bonifacio Quirog, the secretary to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan and BLESS adviser, and Fidelino Coritico of Loon who is the national executive vice president and regional chairman of the Philippine League of Secretaries to the Sanggunian (PLEASES).
